Archives-based final projects
The digital exhibits created in Multimedia Writing (ENGL 303)
are an example of professor/archivist co-instruction in a semester-long
project. Miriam Cady conducted two full instruction sessions, along with smaller
group meetings to teach primary source literacy and assist with the
World War One Archives at the West Virginia and Regional History Center: Essays by honors students in HIST 209 Twentieth Century Europe. Miriam Cady conducted an instruction session for the whole class in Woodburn and then worked separately with the honors students on this archives-based essay assignment. She curated materials for the students to select from and did a session with these materials at the WVRHC.
