2018 Exhibit: Justice for All
Law and Lawyers in West Virginia

This exhibit commemorates the key role the legal profession has played throughout the history of the nation's 35th state, and honors Steptoe & Johnson's recent donation of the papers from the firm's co-founder, Louis A. Johnson. Subjects include notable Harrison County lawyers, including Johnson; highlights of West Virginia lawyers and legal history; and landmark cases such as West Virginia State Board of Education v. Barnette and Frank M. Dent v. West Virginia.
