Join us for the 2024 West Virginia Day program, "Living the Folklife: Monsters, Music, Medicine, Myths and More."

Dr. Rosemary Hathaway, Professor of English at WVU, and Jennie Williams, State Folklorist at the West Virginia Humanities Council, will explore new and traditional folklore in West Virginia.

Immediately following the speakers, the WVRHC will open a new exhibit featuring West Virginia folklife traditions with materials from the Center's book and archival collections.
